Booking Fees / Late Policy / Cancellation / Tardiness


1.   DEPOSIT/BOOKING FEE: A 50% deposit is required to secure your date in our schedule. The balance fee is to be settled 7 days prior to the photo session. No exceptions. 2.   LATE COMINGS AND RESCHEDULE POLICY/FEES: The photographer has limited bookings scheduled daily to accommodate personal one-on-one sessions. Please be mindful that when we block off a time spot for you, we are holding that spot for only you. Therefore, we are not able to schedule someone else. We will not tolerate any no-call no show clients.

 

Client UNDERSTANDS THAT; 

a.   The Session will AUTOMATICALLY BE CANCELLED to be rescheduled in the event the CLIENT is more than 15 minutes late for their agreed session time. If the client is running late for their session, they are responsible for communicating this to the photographer ahead of time.

b.   Client can extend their session time by 30 minutes for R550 if the photographer is able to accommodate the change in schedule.  To be communicated and confirmed before the session time. 

c.    In the event the photographer's schedule does not allow the client to extend their session time at all, the client can either reschedule the shoot at a flat rate of R750 to book another date or decide to cancel their shoot altogether and pay the cancellation fee of 25% of your total invoice.

d. In the event the client makes use of PayFlex payment and cancels their shoot, they are responsible to pay the 25% Cancellation fee as well as the service fee (the photographer) incurred through PayFlex.

e.   If you (the client) are a no-call/no-show, you are forfeiting your session, and therefore session will be canceled if the client is more than 15 mins late. Please be mindful that when we block off a time spot for you, we are holding that spot for only you. Therefore, we are not able to schedule someone else. We will not tolerate any no-call no-show clients.

 

3.   CANCELLATION POLICY / CANCELLATION FEES: The photographer is foregoing other photographic jobs, in the event of the cancellation of the photographer's services, the client will NOT be refunded a cancellation fee of 25% of the total invoiced amount in order to offset the loss of the business and time the photographer has already invested in aiding client and preparing for client's studio session. In the event client also opted for make-up with their packages, the make-up artist's fee will also fall under the non-refundable part of the cancellation fee. This fee covers initial communication, all planning, studio hire, and blocking off a specific time frame for your session. In the event the client makes use of PayFlex payment and cancels their shoot, they are responsible to pay the 25% Cancellation fee as well as the service fee (the photographer) incurred through PayFlex. Cancellation is to be given to the photographer electronically in writing. In the event the Photographer cancels the session to be rescheduled for another date, the Client will NOT be held responsible for paying the Reschedule fee of R750.

a.   In the event the client books the maternity/newborn combo package completes the maternity portion and then cancels the second half of the combo package (The newborn package), the client forfeits the combo discount and the package will therefore change to the single maternity session and will be billed for such based off the single maternity package (Cost of the package and what it includes, anything additional will be charged for).  Client can however choose to convert the newborn package into a milestone or family session in the event they are unable to do a newborn session. 

 

4.  TARDINESS / YOUR BOOKED SESSION DATE AND TIME: Calculate YOUR travel & traffic time accordingly! Photographer will NOT be held responsible for any costs the client incurred in the event the client runs late for the booked session. Please plan enough time to get to your session. Whether that be getting makeup done, the kids ready, or navigating through rush hour traffic. If you are running late, please notify me. I respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning a session, so please respect mine. The client understands that session times are booked according to a shooting schedule and the photographer will not be held liable for the client's loss in session time, cancellations, or rescheduling fees. The client is responsible for arriving on time. 


SICK NOTICE: I understand that life happens. People get sick, and things go wrong. If you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give me 48 hours ' notice. If you happen to fall ill on the day of your session, please reschedule. I work every day with all age groups and cannot risk passing on anything to our beloved clients. Your photos will look better if you are feeling well-rested and at your best!

 

5. EDITING POLICY:

Final edited images are delivered via WeTransfer link in 4 weeks (28 Business days) from the date of confirming selections (excluding public holidays, weekends, and business closing seasons). Basic editing: Flyaways, skin blemishes, teeth whitening, overall basic skin retouching, and background clean-up are included in the price of your package.

However, any additional editing requests such as head swaps, changing colors of clothes or nails, backgrounds, removing tattoos, advance detailed editing (more precise skin work, chipped or missing nails, fill-in hair, and lashes, composite are extra, including major body shaping, or change to the photos, etc. will be evaluated and quoted at R350 per hour.
